It really ends up being a battle of wills. It doesn’t matter in that moment, that the odds are stacked in your favor. That fish will fight with everything it has.

Wearing you down as much as you exhaust it.

It can take hours to reel in one fish. Your muscles and body will ache. Your hands might bleed from trying to reel. And who is victorious will come down to - who tires out first. Who out lasted the other. Who gave up.

But here is a cheat. You don’t have to do it alone. You can pass the reel to someone else when you get tired. You can take a break and then come back stronger. And when you pool your efforts and share the fight, that fish doesn’t stand a chance…
