When Abode Outside reached out, I already knew it was going to be a fit.
They’re an eco-friendly clothing brand rooted in sustainability, simplicity, and a deep love for the outdoors. All values I share not just in how I shoot, but in how I live. So instead of just snapping product photos, we set out to tell a story. One that felt lived-in, real, and aligned with what we both care about: quality gear, thoughtful design, and leaving the planet better than we found it.
The Mission
I wanted to show the gear doing what it was made to do—being worn, packed, dirtied, and appreciated out in the wild. This wasn’t a studio shoot. It was a weekend on the road, early mornings in the woods, and late-night fireside edits, all while testing the pieces for comfort, durability, and style.
What We Created
We created a long-term partnership. We started with a single shoot and little something extra. A kick-off video featuring yours truly (see below). Then that turned into another shoot and another, and that turned into a years long partnership filled with some amazing adventures, shots, and video production, that spanned the country over.
